Air-France-Cayenne-lounge-624x380.jpgOn 28 June 2024, Air France reopened its fully renovated lounge at Cayenne-Félix Eboué international airport. Customers can enjoy a bite to eat, work, or just relax in this elegant and comfortable redesigned space, before boarding or between flights.

This lounge is dedicated to Air France's Business and Flying Blue Ultimate, Platinum and Gold customers, whether they are travelling to Paris-Charles de Gaulle or on the airline's Regional Caribbean Network. It also welcomes eligible customers from KLM and SkyTeam partner airlines.

It has 41 seats over a surface area of more than 100 m2. Nearly 70% of the seats have been renovated and reupholstered locally in a more sustainable approach.

Redesigned spaces for greater comfort

The Air France teams now welcome customers in a calm and warm environment. From the lounge entrance, the Air France universe is reflected in its signature colours, with shades of blue, luminous whites, touches of red and the presence of the winged seahorse, the airline's historic symbol.

At the heart of the lounge, a dining area showcases French cuisine. It features individual seats in red leather, adding a touch of warmth and conviviality. The self-service menu changes throughout the day, offering hot and cold, savoury and sweet dishes, as well as vegetarian options. Meat and seafood salad, fish court-bouillon and turmeric chicken are just some of the dishes inviting you to enjoy gourmet delights with a focus on local produce.

Air France pays particular attention to limiting food waste, selective sorting and recycling its catering services. Water fountains are also available to limit the consumption of single-use plastic.

The lounge also has three areas with comfortable chairs, separated from each other for greater privacy and calm. Facing the window, a high table allows passengers to work in natural daylight. Flying Blue Ultimate customers have an area entirely reserved for them.

The lounge also provides a free Wi-Fi connection and numerous electric and USB sockets close to the seats. Digital press is available on the Air France Play app.

This summer, Air France is operating a daily long-haul flight between Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Cayenne. On its Regional Caribbean Network, the airline also operates up to twelve weekly flights between Cayenne, Fort de France and Pointe à Pitre, up to four flights a week between Cayenne and Miami (USA), and a weekly flight from Cayenne to Belém (Brazil).
