This partnership aims to revolutionize the regional aviation market with advanced aerodynamics and innovative propulsion technology.
Range of up to 1,200 nautical miles
The Maeve M80 is a clean-sheet design, expected to deliver jet-like performance with the cost-efficiency of a turboprop. With a range of up to 1,200 nautical miles, the aircraft aims to reduce fuel consumption and emissions by up to 40% compared to existing regional jets. Maeve plans to introduce the M80 into service by 2032.
Market to grow
According to the AIN report, the regional aircraft market is projected to grow significantly in the coming decades, driven by the demand for passenger capacities in the 70- to 90-seat range and improved environmental performance. Maeve’s strategy focuses on addressing this market with a new, efficient aircraft design.
