No-cliché hotel M Social opens in Singapore
The M Social hotel in Singapore is definitely different. Singapore’s newest hotel is a 293-room lifestyle design hotel, situated along the Singapore River, in the Robertson Quay area, close to the CBD. The hotel is designed by French designer Philippe Starck.
The M Social describes itself as a hotel without ‘stuffy hotel cliches and formalities’. What it does offer is chic interiors featuring psychedelic coloured tiles, chandeliers, and bronze peanut-shaped sculptures that flank the entrance. The hotel also boasts large rooms with generous ceiling heights of up to 4.1m.
The M Social hotel offers a self-check-in kiosk. Every guest receives a complimentary smartphone for use during the stay, featuring unlimited data usage and phone calls (local and international). The phone is pre-loaded with a city guide.
The hotel offers food and beverage outlets and a pool, where thematic gatherings will take place, including morning tai-chi sessions and yoga.
