Welcome to The New York EDITION
New York’s rich hotel palette now offers a brand new attraction. The well-known former headquarters of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Company has been transformed into a new iconic landmark hotel: The New York EDITION.
You will find The New York EDITION on 24th street and Madison Avenue, directly across from New York’s iconic Madison Square Park. The hotel was originally built in 1909 and is famous for its historic 41-story clock tower.
The 273 guest rooms and suites all offer spectacular views of New York. If you are hosting a business meeting and you need a location that is – literally – ‘the top’, book one of the hotel’s three 1,350 square foot penthouses. They have sweeping views of the city and are suitable tor private events and gatherings.
New York foodies have already discovered The Clocktower restaurant – managed by Michelin-starred chef Jason Atherton – located on the landmarked second floor and outfitted with mahogany wood-panelled walls.
The hotel also offers an intimate lobby bar and a 1,650 square foot state-of-the-art fitness center and spa located on the 39th floor.
