China Medical City’s new hotel: Okura Nikko Taizhou

China’s ever-growing number of development zones and Free Trade Zones cannot flourish without the establishment of proper accommodation for business travellers. Taizhou’s new medical development zone – also known as China Medical City – now has its hotel: the Okura Nikko Taizhou Hotel.

The new luxury hotel is located in the center of Taizhou National Medical High-tech Development Zone, China’s first and largest national medical high-tech zone. The first hotel in the area offers 200 guest rooms on 18 floors, multiple dining facilities, a business center, a fitness club and an indoor pool.

The Okura Nikko Taizhou Hotel caters for the needs of visitors to the various blue-chip global biopharmaceutical companies, research facilities and academic institutions in the region.

Taizhou is a city of approximately five million people located 250 km northwest of Shanghai in central Jiangsu Province, which is about a three-hour drive from Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport.
