TripAdvisor offers Uber services

TripAdvisor users can now enjoy a new feature for its smartphone and mobile website, allowing easy access to Uber services. With the new feature, you can easily reserve a ride with Uber to restaurants, attractions and hotels in more than 40 cities worldwide.

Millions use the TripAdvisor app to plan business and leisure trips. TripAdvisor’s Adam Medros, senior vice president of global product, is excited: “Our partnership with the popular technology platform makes our app an even more powerful travel-planning resource.”

With the listings of restaurants, attractions and hotels, users will now be able to see an estimate of Uber car fares and the wait times for pickup. There is a ‘Ride there with Uber’ button that takes users to the Uber app or mobile website to complete the reservation and send a car to their location.
