The Holiday Inn's amazing glass bottom pool is for the courageous swimmer. It is situated on the hotel’s 24th floor. That is not the scariest part. What is? The pool is suspended midair, with nothing but a glass bottom underneath.

Swimming in the 30 meter-pool offers a rare treat - a bird’s eye view of Shanghai’s Pudong Kangqiao area. You can watch the red-shingled rooftops of the surrounding buildings while practicing your breast stroke! It is like swimming and flying at the same time.

The experience is open to non-guests. For every purchase of a five-pack of Holiday Inn’s RMB130 buffet vouchers they’ll let two people use the pool for two hours.
