The Las Vegas High Roller Observation Wheel

Las Vegas’ latest attraction has no real connection to blackjack or any other game. However, it comes close to a giant spinning roulette wheel. The Las Vegas High Roller Observation Wheel takes you up 550 feet (168 meters) in the sky, offering a unique view of the Las Vegas Strip.

The world’s tallest observation wheel beats the current record holder, the Singapore Flyer, by 9 feet and the London Eye by 107 feet. The wheel has 28 gondolas, each of which can hold 40 people. The new attraction serves as the towering centerpiece of Caesar Entertainment’s LINQ project that combines a retail, restaurant and entertainment complex. Tickets for the High Roller are $24.95 during the day, $34.95 at night.
