Take your time to decide, thanks to the ‘Time to Think’ service

When you are planning a business trip, you may want some time to think before actually booking your flight. At AIR FRANCE KLM, we understand. We will keep your reservation (and the rate) for a few days, for a small fee. That is what the ‘Time to Think’ service is about: take it easy, take your time.

You may need to find out about hotel capacity or to finalise appointments and meetings with the business partners you plan to meet. AIR FRANCE KLM offers the unique ‘Time to Think’ option to save your reservation for a few days, including a guarantee the same price.

‘Time to Think’ basically buy you some more time – at a very reasonable rate - to secure the booking & fare for a few days. The option is reserved to customers booking online on Air France and KLM flights. When eventually you do not want to buy the ticket you have taken an option on, your reservation is cancelled automatically after the option period.

The duration of the ‘Time to Think’ period is 7 to 14 days, varying according to the destination and the reservation and departure date. ‘Time to Think’ is valid for Economy and Business bookings and is non-refundable. The ‘Time to Think’ option is valid for reservation in all cabins. The option is free for all flights and all cabin classes for infants under 2 years of age.

The fee you pay for some extra decision-taking time will be added to your ticket price. The fee for medium-haul flights is €5 for Air France Economy Class reservation on all flights within metropolitan France and within Europe or between Europe and North Africa and Israel. For KLM the fee on medium-haul flights is €10. For long-haul flights the fee is €15 per ticket for both KLM and Air France (except La Première).
