Take a nap at IKEA
After a busy day and numerous meetings in Beijing, you may want to relax a little. Follow the example of the Chinese and head for the IKEA in China. Look around, be surprised about the extreme popularity among Chinese consumers. And relax or even take a nap in one of the chairs or beds, as many Chinese do.
The Swedish furniture retailer IKEA had recently opened its second store in Beijing. It is the 14th IKEA in China, after its debut in 1998 when it opened its first outlet in Shanghai. The new store is located in Beijing's Xihongmen area, in Daxing District. The first IKEA store in Beijing is located by the northeast corner of the north 4th ring road.
On the photos you can see Beijing customers that have rushed to IKEA for an afternoon nap in mid-summer, sleeping on the display mattresses and enjoying the free air-conditioning.
