Select your room at Hilton
Hilton Worldwide plans to offers guests the service of selecting and booking specific rooms in its hotels. Did you like the view of a certain room last time you stayed, or did you like the room at the end of the corridor because it was quiet? It is yours!
The capability to choose a specific room – after booking a reservation, starting a day before their stay – will be limited for Hilton HHonors members. The service on desktop and mobile devices is rolled out before the end of the year in the 4,000 hotels of Hilton Worldwide’s Waldorf Astoria, Conrad Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, DoubleTree and Embassy Suites in the U.S.
Guest that have made a reservation will enjoy the new service from 6 a.m. a day before the stay. They can simply log in to their HHonors apps on Android and iOS or sign into their program account on the desktop. On a digital floor plan they can select a specific room. The service also allows guests to request for extra pillows or a cold beer or some wine to be delivered to the room upon arrival.
Research has shown that this service will certainly please business travellers. A Hilton survey found that 84% of business travellers indicated they would welcome the ability to select their own room.
