Radisson Hospitality is expanding in Africa
The hotel group has announced that it will open ten new hotels on the continent. If you are a fan of Radisson’s hotel concepts or are a member of their Radisson Rewards program, you will have more Radisson options on the continent in the near future.
Growth in Africa is a key item in Radisson’s new five-year plan, that aims to bring the company into the top 3 of largest hotel groups in the world. Breaking Travel News reports that the new hotels, that will add a total of 1,300 rooms to Africa’s most important business cities, are:

Radisson Collection Ikoyi Lagos, Nigeria. On Lagos Island, this 165-room hotel is scheduled to open in 2020.

Radisson Hotel Lagos Ikeja, Nigeria. A 92 rooms-hotel, on the main highway linking Ikeja with the rest of Lagos. The international airport, which accounts for 50 per cent of all air traffic in Nigeria is located one kilometre from the hotel.

Park Inn by Radisson Serviced Apartment Lagos VI, Nigeria, with 55 contemporary hotel apartments.

Radisson Blu Hotel Casablanca, opening in 2019, the 120-room business hotel will be situated in the city’s business district and on the doorstep of major attractions.

Radisson Blu Hotel Niamey, Niger. This is the first Radisson hotel in this new market of Niamey, the capital city of Niger and a hub in Francophone West Africa. The new, 196-room hotel in Niamey will open in 2019.
