Pullman Tokyo Tamachi: AccorHotel’s 1000th hotel in Asia
The recently opened Pullman Tokyo Tamachi – 143 rooms – is the first hotel of this business hotel brand in Japan. It is also the 1000th hotel of the AccorHotels group in Asia Pacific. The hotel group now has over 200,000 rooms in the region.
On average, AccorHotels opens a new hotel in Asia Pacific every three days. TravelWeekly Asia reports that Michael Issenberg, CEO Asia-Pacific AccorHotels, aims to open a new hotel in this region every second day by 2020.
The Pullman Tokyo Tamachi is the group’s 75th Pullman in Asia Pacific in ten years, with a globel total of 125 hotels. The new hotel is located in Tamachi, one of the city's most important business districts. The hotel offers direct access to Tamachi's train station via a walkway on the second floor. The lobby is decorated with natural materials and colourful tones inspired by Japanese Kabuki. The hotel has 143 stylish rooms, a live kitchen, an executive lounge and a rooftop bar. Ideal for business travellers and tourists.
