Passport app to save time at US airports

If you dislike waiting for an hour or more at U.S. Customs and Border Protection, there may be a way to jump the queue. A new passport app may save some valuable time on U.S. Airports.

Mobile Passport Control is an official app from U.S. Customs and Border Protection that enables you to skip the wait at customs. Basically the app is a replacement for the paper declaration form required of anyone coming into the United States.

Fill in all the necessary passport control and customs declaration details in this app in advance and you can bypass the regular line and clear customs way faster.
The app does not require pre-approval, is free to use and does not collect any new information on travellers. At this time, the app is only available for iPhone, and only works at Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport (ATL). More airports will be added soon and an Android app is under construction. You can download the Mobile Passport Control App from the Apple App Store.
