Now open: Marriott Bonn World Conference Hotel
Marriott has opened its brand new Marriott Bonn World Conference Hotel in Bonn. With 17 floors, 336 rooms including 30 suites, two presidential suites and an array of modern facilities, the hotel is one of the largest in Germany and boasts a rooftop restaurant, fitness centre, spa and indoor pool.
Together with the capital Berlin, Bonn serves as the seat of government of Germany, and therefore still receives many business travellers. The city is the second official seat and second official residence of the President of Germany, the Chancellor of Germany, the Bundesrat, and the first official seat and first official residence of six German federal ministries.
The new hotel, situated on the banks of the Rhine, caters for the business traveller. It is perfectly located for both the bustling business district and the fantastic bars, restaurants and famous museums the city is renowned for.
The highlight of the hotel is the exceptional 17th floor restaurant and bar, Konrad’s. The bar and restaurant feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering visitors panoramic views. The hotel also offers conference and banquet space including three private dining areas on the top floor of the hotel, for creative exchanges, private events and meetings. Within the new hotel is a 1500m2 spa built around historic Roman remains that are integrated into the space itself.
