New luxury hotel: Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach

Hilton Hotels & Resorts has opened its first hotel in China’s coastal Shandong Province. The Hilton Qingdao Golden Beach, situated on the shores of Golden Beach of the coastal city of Qingdao, has just opened its doors. Shandong is one of the top manufacturing provinces in China.

The hotel offers 431 large guest rooms, including 29 elegant suites ranging from 42-150 square meters. All hotel rooms offer walk-in showers, bath tubs, walk-in wardrobes, private toilets and stunning garden or ocean views, and private balconies. Five food and beverage outlets feature authentic and innovative Western, Asian and Chinese cuisines. The hotel features 23 flexible function spaces, including an impressive 2,100 square-meter pillar-less Grand Ballroom with an 800 square-meter pre-function area. All rooms and public areas throughout the hotel feature complimentary Wi-Fi Internet access. Other recreational facilities include indoor and outdoor pools, a well-equipped fitness center, spa, tennis courts and an 18-hole golf course nearby.

Shandong province ranks first among the provinces in the production of a variety of products, including cotton and wheat as well as precious metals such as gold and diamonds. Dongying's oil fields and petroleum industries form an important component of Shandong's economy. Qingdao is in the richest part of the province, Shandong Peninsula. The city is home to three of the most well-known brand names of China: Tsingtao Beer, Haier and Hisense.
