MICE destinations – Bali ready for large events

Planners of large conferences and incentive events in Asia have few options outside the region’s large business cities. Bali has now joined the competition. RIMBA Jimbaran, located within the 90-hectare AYANA Resort and Spa, allows groups of up to 450 rooms to stay on property.

RIMBA Jimbaran Bali adds to the island’s facilities for world-class events in a big way. The new location on the southwest part of the popular island destination, a mere fifteen minutes from Ngurah Rai International Airport, is all first class. With 282 rooms and suites to expand on AYANA’s 368 rooms and villas, RIMBA supports accommodation requirements for corporate and wedding groups that AYANA could not previously fulfil.

Groups of up to 450 rooms can stay at RIMBA Jimbaran, with accommodation options ranging from private pool villas to Club-level executive suites and standard rooms. RIMBA has its own grand Ballroom venue, as well as meeting rooms and event spaces to supplement AYANA’s extensive facilities and oceanfront facilities.

Some conference planners have already discovered the conference facilities at RIMBA Jimbaran. Earlier in 2014, a multinational technology corporation’s incentive program was held at RIMBA for five days. More than 600 guests of the Presidents Club APJ 2014 event were accommodated at RIMBA, with convenient access to events, spa treatments and dining at AYANA.
