Hyatt opens first convention center hotel in Portland

In the heart of Portland, near the Oregon Convention Center and local sport and concert arena Moda Center, Hyatt Regency has just opened a convention center hotel. The Hyatt Regency Portland hotel is an attractive option to business travelers.

The hotel is well-located, with Portland’s MAX Light Rail directly outside the hotel. This offers easy transportation to downtown Portland, the Eastside, and Portland International Airport (PDX), Lodging Magazine reports.

All 600 rooms are well-equipped, with city, river, or mountains views, modern bathrooms, and 65-inch TVs in a multifunctional and interconnected space.

Being close to the recently renovated Oregon Convention Center, the hotel has 20 event venues of its own. Also, the hotel boasts three dining options: Unity-Q, the open-concept restaurant with Asian, Latin and American BBQ flavors, Spoke & Fork, the lobby restaurant and bar and The Market, a 24-hour premium grab-and-go retail space with café seating.
