Dusit opens first ASAI Hotel in Bangkok

Thai hotel company Dusit International is to open the first of a chain of affordable hotels in Thailand, aimed at millennial-minded travellers. The new ASAI Bangkok Chinatown will feature 224 compact rooms (ranging from 18 – 22 sq. m) with a contemporary, Thai-Chinese-inspired design.

TravelDailyMedia reports that hotels of the new ASAI brand will be known for their thoughtful essentials, common ground, authentic connections and a sustainable ecosystem. Two of the hotels’ essential features are superior quality beds and high-pressure rain showers.

The ASAI Bangkok Chinatown will be located 100 metres from the new Wat Mangkon MRT (underground) station, which connects the Chinatown area to the rest of the city. The hotel’s location is adjacent to Yaowarat Road – one of the world’s most renowned street food destinations.
