Dakota Hotel opens near Manchester’s Piccadilly Station
For business travelers visiting the thriving Manchester region, there is a new and interesting hotel option. Close to Manchester’s Piccadilly Station, the new Dakota Manchester hotel has opened. It is Dakota’s fifth hotel in the UK – other hotels of the brand are in Edinburgh, Glasgow and Leeds.
The hotel has 137 rooms, ranging from standard rooms to Garden King rooms with a private garden terrace, as well as Junior, Signature and Deluxe Suite categories. The Dakota offers some F&B outlets that will definitely attract business travelers in the summer period. For business dinners or just for a relaxed dinner after a hard day’s work, the hotel features the Dakota Grill, a cocktail bar and Champagne Room. There is also a waterside terrace and a cigar garden.
The founder of the young hotel chain, Ken McCulloch, explains the signature of the brand to BusinessTraveller: “It is the finer details that make all the difference. I have only the simplest of tastes. I only want the best. It’s all about the simple things done brilliantly. There’s no place like home, but we’re working on it.”
