Bigger bins on Airbus
Business travelers prefer airlines because of their safety record, the quality of their staff, the comfort on board and numerous other reasons, including: bins. Airbus is offering a new, extra spacious bin on its aircraft that most travelers will love.
To many travelers, the size of the overhead luggage bins matters, as it defines the chances of easy storage of their carry-on bags. The new Airspace XL bins by Airbus are designed to provide 40 to 60 per cent more overhead storage space. According to the aircraft manufacturer, the new bin on board of its aircraft utilizes a minimum rotating parts and offers a slightly different angle of the whole bin, increasing the space in the bin.
Airbus says the changes allow wheel-on cases to be inserted on their side rather than flat. This allows the storage of up to eight bags (three more than the current capacity of five), each measuring up to 61cm x 40.6cm x 25.4cm in size. The novelty has been introduced on the A330neo and A350 and now also on the A320.
