Europe's Best Boutique Hotel. The Toren, located in two original Amsterdam canal houses at the Keizersgracht, was crowned at a World Boutique Hotel Awards ceremony held in London.

The judges in the competition reward typical boutique hotels that offer integrity, individuality and character to their guests in addition to the standards of luxury they desire. Over the years, the award was given to hotels that are undeniably, irrefutably unique.

The beautiful canal houses, in which the The Toren is located, were built in 1618. It was a typical home of a patrician from that time. The Toren has a broad portfolio of rooms, ranging from small and compact to stunningly beautiful rooms and suites, some of them with an in room Jacuzzi. Offering more than 12 different room types and 38 uniquely decorated rooms, each purpose of visit requires a specific room recommendation.

The great hotel bar deserves a special mention. It is considered the heart of the hotel where guests come together cocktails, wines and champagnes. The beautiful ceiling is painted by students who studied at the well-known university of the famous painter Rembrandt himself.
