Al Bustan Palace (Muscat) reopens after renovation
One of the most iconic business and leisure hotels in the Middle East has reopened its doors to the public, after a long period of renovations. The Al Bustan Palace, located outside Oman’s capital of Muscat, has invested heavily to increase its competitiveness towards Muscat’s large assortment of business hotels.
Of all business hotels in the Muscat area, the Al Bustan Palace is the one with the stunning location. Located between the Al Hajar mountain range and the Sea of Oman, The Al Bustan Palace, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel, was revived in a very tasteful way, now combining its rich heritage with state-of-the-art technology and modern design. The hotel’s 250 rooms and suites have been redesigned, with lush materials and neutral metallic tones.
Luxury Travel Magazine reports that the Al Bustan has a variety of new dining experiences can also be enjoyed on the shores of the Gulf of Oman. Worth a mention is the extended two-level terrace of the Al Khiran Kitchen restaurant (serving local produce) that provides views of the fifty-meter-long infinity pool and the ocean. Also, the Beach Pavilion Bar & Grill has an expansive deck overlooking the seafront and offers local seafood dishes and grills.
