The dusitD2 Nairobi hotel has reopened following six months of renovation that was targeted at enhancing its dining and meeting offering. The hotel of the Thai Dusit International group was elected the Best Luxury Business Hotel in Nairobi three times in a row.

The dusitD2 Nairobi, located in Nairobi’s exclusive Westlands neighbourhood, has implemented security measures to enhance its safety standards. TravelDailyNews reports that the hotel’s DFit fitness centre has been fully refitted with new top-of-the-range gym equipment.

In the process of the renovations, the hotel’s signature all-day dining restaurant, SOKO, has been fitted with an open kitchen and live cooking stations. The restaurant focuses on using the finest organic ingredients and seasonal inspired produce to offer exciting classic dishes with a touch of gastronomy.

The Soko Gourmet upscale deli offers fine foods inspired from around the world featuring the best of Kenyan coffee & tea selections. The Rouge Deck pool features built-in lounge and deck seating, making it the ideal place to recharge and relax.

Zing Lounge and Bar offers fine wines, champagne, award winning cocktails and crafted draught beers. The Soi Restaurant celebrates a twist on pan-Asian cuisine, featuring modern cooking techniques from Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Japan, China and Malaysia.
