MGallery expands: Victory House, London
If you don’t fancy large business hotels but prefer a more personal style, you may want to stay in a boutique hotel. Have you tried MGallery before? Victory House, London Leicester Square is the latest MGallery boutique property opened in the UK.
The boutique hotel category offers all shapes and price ranges – and brands. The MGallery hotels is the fastest-growing brand within the AccorHotels luxury brands. For the upcoming 5 years, MGallery will continue to expand its collection with new hotels including 32 openings all around the world.
Victory House, the latest addition to the collection, is situated on Leicester Square, right in the heart of London’s West End. After the refurbishment, the hotel has retained its original 19th-century terracotta façade. Originally built in early French Renaissance style in 1898, the property was previously known as Hôtel de l’Europe. It had a Parisian brasserie renowned in its heyday as a popular dining spot in the West End.
Today, Victory House is a hotel where nostalgia meets sleek modernity. It offers 86 stylish and contemporary bedrooms, including nine suites, which are fully soundproofed to create a quiet haven in the buzz of London’s film district. The new hotel also has a bistro, like the l’Europe: the Petit Bistro, operated by Ed Baines and Jamie Poulton. Victory House is within walking distance of Soho, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and St. James’s.
