Virgin Hotels has launched a new property in San Francisco. The new boutique hotel is located in the city’s popular SoMa (South of Market) district, close to Yerba Buena Gardens.

A report by Forbes describes the features of the new Virgin San Francisco Hotel with 192 rooms, or ‘chambers’ as Virgin Hotels likes to call them. The hotel has a rooftop bar and restaurant where guests can enjoy a mix of well-crafted drinks and culinary creations as well as great views of the San Francisco cityscape. The hotel also features a coffee shop and the Commons Club, a dining room and cocktail bar overseen by chef Adrian Garcia. The club offers a fresh, modern take on California cuisine.

In the ‘chambers’, guests enjoy amenities like free, unrestricted Wi-Fi, late checkout, and reasonably priced minibars. Guests sleep in patented ergonomic beds; every room has custom lighting settings, LG Smart TVs, and the Virgin Hotels App ‘Lucy’ to place room service orders.

The hotel opening reflects Virgin Hotels’ rapid growth, with openings planned in Dallas, Nashville, New Orleans, New York City, D.C., Silicon Valley, Palm Springs, Las Vegas, and Edinburgh in the next two years.
