Singapore Changi AirportAfter five years of construction work, Singapore Changi Airport has finally opened its new Terminal 4 – T4. The new terminal will increase the airport’s capacity by 16 million passenger movements per year, bringing Changi’s total to 82 million.

T4 is expected to handle about eight million passenger movements in its first year of operation. In the new terminal, passengers will enjoy a great number of new retail concepts and offerings. Of the 81 outlets, 62 are retail and service outlets and 19 serve a variety of food and drinks.

In the Heritage Zone at T4, facades of old Singapore shop houses are an attraction. Here, passengers also find a row of nostalgic F&B outlets, featuring old-school furnishings. They serve up traditional breakfast and snack items such as kaya toast, mee siam and kopi. Here you can also sample roti prata from the ‘live’ prata station, where the popular Indian pancake is prepared freshly by a chef.
